Daily Detail Itinerary: Roma and La Costa Bella

Day 1:

Arrive in Rome
Upon exiting customs, you will be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will escort you to your transfer vehicle. Relax as the driver assists with your luggage and escorts you to the Ambasciatori Palace hotel.

Check into Ambasciatori Palace Hotel
You will be checked into your hotel before you arrive, so explore this historic building, built to house diplomats and overlooking the Via Veneto, one of the most exciting streets in the world.

Welcome Reception and Dinner at Hotel
Meet the other families that will share the adventure! Gather together and enjoy your first of many mouthwatering Italian feasts.

Day 2:
(Meals Included: Breakfast and Lunch)

Walking Tour of Historic Rome
Follow an ancient road to the dazzling destinations in the city, from the famed Spanish Steps to the twinkling Trevi Fountain. Cap off your tour with a taste of heaven - Italian ice cream, called “gelato”!

Lunch in Rome
After your city tour, share an authentic Roman pizza with your family at a local restaurant.

Highlights of Rome
Learn the legends and relive the majesty of Rome’s glorious past! Walk through history at the ancient Colosseum, the Forum and a photo stop at St. Peters Square - it’s a timeless journey your family will treasure forever.

Dinner on Your Own
A marvelous meal is never far in Rome, and our Adventure Guides will be happy to make suggestions for a family feast to remember.

Day 3:

Travel to Naples
Get whisked away to the Italian countryside on a luxury motor coach. Relax with the family as the pastoral scenery sweeps by.

Dig into an Italian feast with your fellow adventurers in a land that’s rich with myths and legends!

Pompeii
Journey to a town that’s literally frozen in time! Learn how Mt. Vesuvius’ volcanic explosion actually preserved remnants of this ancient civilization, and walk through the petrified streets, houses, baths and amphitheaters of yesteryear!

Overlooking the Bay of Naples, enjoy the view from this cliff-top resort.

Amalfi Coast Dinner and Reception
Celebrate the art of living well! After cocktails overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, gather together with your fellow adventurers for a feast and toast to your new friends! While parents enjoy the sunset, kids can kick back, savor some “dolce” and watch a classic Disney movie!

Day 4:

Discover Sorrento
In the morning, walk into Sorrento and discover it by foot with a local expert. Learn its history and discover its many charms!

Visit Agriturismo La Galatea Farm
Journey through the peaceful countryside to a charming farm and learn how to harvest delectable lemons, olive and fruit.

Cooking Class and Lunch at La Galatea
Gather together and make an authentic Italian pizza in the farmhouse kitchen! This mouthwatering lesson is arranged specially for Adventures by Disney Guests - and you’ll get to devour your creations for lunch!

On Your Own in Sorrento
It’s a perfect afternoon on the coast! Whether you desire a relaxing day at the beach or an afternoon shopping for treasures, there are limitless activities for everyone in the family. For dinner on your own, our Adventure Guides can help you find a charming restaurant where you can try scrumptious seafood, pasta or other local specialties.

Day 5:

Journey to Positano
Walk into a picture postcard and enjoy this magical fishing town that cascades down hillsides into the sparkling blue Mediterranean - no wonder it’s one of the most photographed places in the world!

Amalfi Coast Tour
Hop aboard a private boat, glide across the sapphire sea and tour the Amalfi Coast from the ocean side. This unforgettable cruise is exclusive to Adventures by Disney Guests.

Ferry Ride and Walking Tour at Capri
Journey to this legendary isle that has captured the imagination for generations! Stroll through designer boutiques, crumbling ruins, dazzling beaches and ocean views that will take your breath away!

Family Lunch On Your Own
Seafood doesn’t get much fresher than this. Enjoy a seaside lunch with your family. Your Adventure Guide will be happy to make suggestions for a quick bite or a leisurely meal on your own.

Boat Tour of Capri and Swimming
Take a private cruise around this enchanted island and discover some magical swimming spots! Explore the stunning coastline and take a dip in sapphire blue waters. Enjoy your afternoon in paradise!

Farewell Dinner
Toast to the magnificent Mediterranean adventure you’ve shared with your family and newfound friends. With irresistible Italian dishes, lively entertainment and a few Disney surprises, this party celebrates the adventure of a lifetime!

Day 7:
(Meal Included: Breakfast)

Breakfast at the Hotel
Bid farewell to all your fellow adventurers, and enjoy one last meal on the Amalfi Coast.

Transfers to Airport
Relax and enjoy your final moments in Italy as we handle your luggage and arrange for transportation to the Naples airport. Say “arrivederci” to your fellow adventurers until you return again!
